We had the pleasure of spending the Thanksgiving holiday with Alex's daughter Karyn and son in law Brian at their home in Perris, CA. Above is the view from their back deck, a nice orange/grapefruit grove next door and a mountail (little one) in the background. At night you can hear the wolves howling at the moon, they are hybreds belonging to a neighbor.
Oliver met a new friend, her name is Tater and she followed Oliver everywhere. The pals and Alex and I are pictured above. Other than a few spats over toys they got along very well and slept like rocks when they weren't busy playing.
We did some brief sightseeing and some shopping, but mostly saved ourselves for the big feast on Thanksgiving day. Karyn cooked a 20 lb. turkey and all the trimmings, while we sat back and watched. After eating ourselves into a come we had time to visit with Brian's sister and her family. This is Karyn holding a new great neice.
We headed back home on Black Friday and steered clear of any shopping establishments. Passing through Palm Springs you go by several windmill farms, I took a picture from the car.
Now we are back to work, our hours have changed because another workcamper couple had to leave. Alex still works in Guest Services on Saturdays and Sundays and I work Mondays and Fridays. It interferes with the amount of golf we play, but not too bad. But it pays the rent :).
